Our school is a Title 1 K-5 elementary school. We have a high ESOL population and 80% of students receive free and reduced lunch. Students at our school struggle with consistently being responsible, respectful and safe. Teachers spend a lot of time managing student behavior. This takes away time spent engaged in learning. Through PBIS we hope to decrease the number of discipline referrals, so that teachers can spend more time teaching and students can spend more time learning.

About my class
