I am requesting calculators for my students. I work at a low income school and the students often request a calculator for use. Having a class set will help me teach students how to use a calculator properly versus trying to explain all the differences between an iPhone Calculator and Android calculator. I also want to help the students be less distracted at school and an incoming message could disrupt them from their calculator use. As a student who has experienced a phone's disruption hurting my own grade in college I want to prevent this, teach them good habits, and have students do their absolute best.
