My students are very diverse. We have very high populations of Hispanics and Muslims. They are also very diverse when it comes to socioeconomics. We have rich kids and kids in poverty. However, they all have one thing in common, they chose to come to my school. Our school is very career centered, to the point where we don't even have bells. Our goal is to prepare students for careers, not just college. We teach professionalism as well as content. My students had to apply to go to our school, but are not chosen on merit. It is a unique school with unique students.
