My special needs students would greatly benefit from the use of iPads in the classroom. I currently do not have a listening center and the iPads are a great way to create and incorporate a listening center into the classroom. My students learn and retain information through multi-sensory approaches and iPads would aid in their visual learning. They would be able to listen to books and poems read aloud and complete letter matching and letter identification games. They would also be able to work on their science and math skills. The iPads would be catered to each student's unique and individual needs which would have a great impact on their learning not only today but for the rest of their academic lives!
