Giving low-income students access to new books is an investment in their future. I will use these books to enrich the students' lives and make them better students for the future. For example, students will collaborate about the book and participate in student-centered book discussions, vocabulary lessons, and learn about the characters, setting, and theme of each book.
These donations will vastly improve the students' fluency and comprehension and prepare them to be active readers from here on. I wouldn't be able to provide all my students their own book to read without the generous donations provided by this site.
