I teach at a charter school in South Jordan, Utah so my students come from near and far to attend our school. They are eager to learn and in my classroom I really emphasize the urgency and importance of all we do. Our school has a strong community feel about it and we use "The Leader in Me" program so they are learning how to be successful individuals. Second graders have a lot of energy and I try to be creative in how I channel that energy by keeping them engaged and providing a lot of opportunities for movement in their learning.
