One of my favorite and most successful approaches to teaching the amazing students I have each year is to have them actively engaged in the learning. We do hands-on STEAM projects ("Science,Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics" with the arts integrated) where students are not only introduced to and learn content, but are challenged to be problem-solvers within applicable real-world contexts. We are learning to be engineers and to "make our mark" in the world by making it a better place!

About my class
