My students are wonderful children who come from poverty stricken homes. Although their home life may seem dismal, I strive to make coming to school and music class the best experience they will have that week. My students are just learning to speak English but music is a universal language we all can communicate with. My students are the most friendly children I have taught in the last 15 years despite their demographics.
