My students need a Dash & Dot Robot Wonder Pack, Ozobot 2.0 Bit Starter Packs and Code & Go Robot Mouse Activity Sets. These promote communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creative thinking, and citizenship in our first grade classroom. Steve Jobs once said “Everyone should learn to code a computer. It teaches thinking skills.” Robotic coding is an engaging fun way for my first graders to learn code and coding skills. These code lessons will be integrated into academic content areas to provide a fun, engaging, active learning platform which will stimulate thinking, processing, problem solving and collaboration. Students who understand code and coding will improve thinking, processing, and communicating which are imperative to their futures as students and citizens.
