In the "Smith Family," aka my classroom, every inch is used for learning. From the entry way to the back door, my learners have every opportunity to strengthen their skills through hands-on opportunities such as fine motor activity bins, word building with recycled bottle caps, salt writing, playdoh addition and subtraction, a variety of sorting activities all connected to academic content, dancing and yoga. We are constantly moving and doing as we learn and my students LOVE it! Currently, I have 21 learners from a variety of homes and speaking many different languages, all working each day to be their very best.
