My 7th grade ELA students are at the age where their minds are like a sponge soaking in the knowledge I teach them. They are anxious to learn about and create stories and poems. They love to use descriptive words to engage their reader.
My 8th graders are also high achievers and very focused on their school work and grades. They like to engage in new activities and enjoy using technology when possible. Throughout the year, they have many opportunities to write and create.
Our school is in a rural community in a small county. We have 3 Chrome book carts for teachers to check out that are shared by 400+ students, but they cannot take them home for work that is not completed at school. I want to provide my students the opportunity to use technology at any time needed.
