I teach at an inner city magnet school. We have students from all different backgrounds and abilities. It makes teaching here exciting and never dull!! We work at a very fast paced schedule. Electives are offered every day at every grade level. The upper grades switch classes similar to a middle school. I teach a mixed ability language arts class. We focus on short mini lessons then break into rotations that help to differentiate their work. All levels are taught meeting the needs of this diverse group. These students are eager to learn and soak up what is presented to them.
