The students at Casals are hard-workers. They know how important their education is to their future and they take school very seriously.
After one rotation in music class (15 hours over 3 weeks), I had more than half of my 4th and 6th graders sign up for band! And they are all so excited. I have a few who are already looking up fingerings for the clarinet, one student who wants to get her book ahead of time so she can get ready, and another student who asks me every single day when band is going to start. These kids are pumped up!
