We are starting an independent reading program for our US History students! We want to give students a chance to have choice in what they learn about and hopefully find history that speaks to them. Arts! Tech! Civil Rights! Protagonists as diverse as our student body. We have combed through thrift stores and found treasures to stock the shelves. But these books will be the current, high-interest titles to really draw students into their new favorite subject. Help us get the fresh titles that will get students excited about the history of the United States and help build their literacy.

About my class
