I am a second year teacher with a class of 19 first graders.
I teach in a Title I school in Alabama. I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach in a school where each student receives free breakfast and lunch. The school also has a diverse population with over 45% Hispanic and other English Language Learners. I believe school should be a fun place for everyone. I believe hands on learning is a great way for students to be better able to take ownership over their own learning. I want to help students learn academic skills as well as how to be loved and be a better person. I strive to be a positive influence in the lives of all of my students.
