Agriculture Education classes are innately hands-on, with a variety of different subjects and units. In the course of a year, students in an Ag class might learn about welding, wiring, plant anatomy, animal science, and public speaking, just to list a few. It's hard to do all of these things in a traditional classroom environment with old-school desks.
Having new tables to experiment and work collaboratively would benefit my students tremendously, and would be a huge upgrade from our old combination desks. Students would be able to get hands-on, get messy, collaborate, and experience real experiential learning in Agricultural Education.
