The calm down corner will help my students to relax, take a short break, and refocus their attention on learning. I will use the class decorations to make our classroom environment welcoming and engaging. These resources will help me reinforce social-emotional learning by providing a welcoming space for the students to come and enjoy a positive classroom environment. The calm down corner will also be used as a reward for students to take a break and read, listen to relaxing music, or spend time writing in their journals. This will be a great asset to my classroom.
