The materials that I am requesting will be used in math centers along with instruction. The dice, counters, and dominoes will be used in small groups to help the students build number sense and gain fluency with addition and subtraction facts. The game cards will be used in the same way. The fraction circles with help the students see what each part represents. They will be able to move the parts around and see what equals a whole. Also, the geometry shapes will let the students be able to count the sides, corner, and faces. They will also learn how to build new shapes. This will enhance the students' ability to do math. These materials will help students see and really understand math concepts.
