This project will provide an entire school of Title I, foster, homeless, and low socioeconomic youth with a quality physical education experience.
My goal as a Physical Educator is to provide every student with the opportunity to learn how to be active and healthy for a lifetime. This new equipment will provide a large number of teens access to a sport that they may not have otherwise been exposed to.
Currently at our school we only have 4 standard Volleyballs which does not allow me to teach an entire class of 45 students. The standard material Volleyballs also inflict the sting and red arms that turn most of the students off from wanting to play. The neoprene volleyballs requested will help me teach my students the skills needed to play the game of Volleyball pain free.
