Building reading fluency is one of our main goals in first grade. I create personalized book boxes with books from our classroom for each student. I need some way to organize these books for my little readers to grab and carry to a cozy reading spot somewhere in our classroom. These plastic tubs are perfect for holding all kinds of great books for my beginning readers! In addition to reading books at their level, we have several online reading tools that help our students practice phonics skills and other beginning reading skills. It is a challenge for me to provide enough opportunities for them to use these tools as I have limited technology in my classroom. Two iPads would be a great way to get my students extra practice time they need.
