Every spring our first graders learn about plants and animals for science. It is our hope that we can provide a hands-on experience for our first graders to learn about the life cycle of insects by housing live insects in the classroom.
We would love for our first graders to watch ladybugs change from larvae into adults, and for caterpillars to morph into adults under the observation of the eager young eyes of our students. We believe it will help students understand what living creatures need to survive, the natural process of the lifecycle, and develop a love for life science.
