I work in a low socioeconomic area. I have a class of 21 kindergartners. Each come from a different home life and different upbringing. Each and everyone warms my heart. I have struggling students as well as high achievers. I bet you ask what makes her students different from the other kindergartners everywhere? Every last one of my students want more than anything to learn. Everyone of them know they are loved and everyone always comes in with a smile and leaves with one. It hasn't always been that way because kindergarten is a new world for them. But they all love learning and can't wait for the next lesson! I want more than anything to be be a part of the quality education they need and deserve. These children are our future, and just like a home that is built on a firm foundation, education needs that same foundation.

About my class
