My students (400+ PreK-8th Graders) crave responsibility and love to take ownership of our gym and playground equipment. Our current storage equipment for basketballs, rubber balls, soccer balls etc. consists of one ancient storage cage that is breaking apart day by day. By the end of the summer it will no longer be safe for the younger kids to use, as the cage wires are no longer locked in to place. Having two portable storage cages, one for the gym and one for the playground, will allow us to better sort, transport, and manage equipment (primarily basketballs, soccer balls, and volleyballs).
Sadly, our school budget does not account for us to purchase these items. Therefore, I am reaching out to those willing and able to lend a hand. From donating, you will be helping us provide our students with proper athletic storage units that will last for many years. Additionally, you will be helping students (primarily our PreK and Early Elementary kids) learn how to properly organize and store equipment.
