ELL learners learn best by speaking, reading, and writing to show their comprehension. We currently use our desks to share our knowledge by writing on them with a dry-erase marker. We do many "tours of knowledge" to see our peer's responses. By supporting our class with Write & Wipe Lapboards and Write & Wipe Answer Boards, my students will be able to easily show their responses to questions. They will be able to share their ideas with their peers and myself. By donating to our project, you will provide my students with the resources they need to share their knowledge with their peers, and thus they will be able to learn from one another.
I am also requesting Kore Wobble Stools for my students to have comfortable seating at our guided reading table. At this table, we have many small group discussions and work collaboratively on learning. These seats will help us have more students at the guided reading table because they will take up less space than the current chairs we are using. More seats = more learning!
The last items I am requesting are Connect & Store Book Bins to help organize my classroom library. These book boxes will allow my students to easily access the genre they are interested in reading in.
