Many of my students use their play time to build. I have some old blocks and game pieces that belonged to my personal children many years ago. My students now use them to build things and try to make roller coasters and ramps for balls to go down. The problem is that I don't have enough.
Girls and boys are all interested in building, and I want to encourage them all from an early age. These Contraptions and building materials will persuade ALL students to be creative. I want to inspire them to look at careers in many fields, and this is the first step to science and engineering.
