My students come from families that have multiple jobs to support their family. Our school population consists of students with low income families. All of our students receive free/reduced lunches. I teach 23 students, including
three SPED students and several students that receive tutoring and extra services. My favorite part of teaching is watching the children grow throughout the year.
Our classroom environment is not a strong part of our classroom, and a lot of students have trouble working on most of their work. This has never slowed my students down, and they try their best to work with the supplies they have to better their learning. I would love to show my students that learning can come from all different avenues such as writing, reading, and expanding their learning through collaborative learning and empowering students to work together.
