My students range in age from 5 to 9. They all struggle to learn in the conventional way. Therefore, I am constantly looking for interesting, out-of-the-box ways to teach them, and to get them engaged and interested in what we are doing. Any day that I can hear from my students that what we did in class was "fun" is a day that I know that they learned something, and this will make almost anything that they are doing "fun". These are not kids who often feel special. These are the kids who know that they are different. This will make them feel different, not because they are struggling, but because they have something in their classroom that no other students do.
