During the Fourth Quarter of the year, my students will learn about finances through several on-line resources. The laptops we are requesting will help my students work in groups on financial projects through an online resource called "Practical Money Skills for Life". They will be learning about saving, investing and daily personal finances through this on-line resources and other student-led projects. Learning about finances will give my students an edge now and in their future. My students will learn about the stock market, how to invest, how to save money and how they can use all these skills for college and beyond. The laptops will help us succeed in providing this curriculum which will provide essential life-skills for my students now and for their future.
