he kids will be utilizing the balls to practice for upcoming Special Olympics tournaments that they partake in twice a year. This also allows them the physical movement throughout the day and a way to keep interaction and communication among their peers. The students love playing basketball but the balls we have are no longer able to be used. They love playing different sports with one another and the physical activity gives them a break from the monotony of being in the classroom all day. The kids would be super appreciative for the different balls that they will be able to use. The other materials are used for the classroom to enhance their skills and build upon them.
