Flexible seating will allow movement in an appropriate way while staying on task. Allowing students to have a choice of flexible seating during writing center time will help students to be successful as they work to capture their ideas in their journals.
Providing each student with a journal will assist them in capturing their ideas and keeping their writing organized. Students will be able to revisit previous writing entries and see, firsthand, how their writing has progressed over the course of the school year. I will be able to provide feedback to my students in their journals to assist them in improving their writing.
