Our school is located in the lower part of South Carolina in a high poverty area. Our girl's basketball team consists of 15 girls who have extreme talent. In spite of their economic challenges, these girls on our basketball team excel not only on the court but also in the classroom. This team is working hard to make the playoffs for the first time in seven years. The basketballs we're requesting are the official basketballs used in the South Carolina High School playoffs. Our girls will be able to train with them throughout the regular season as we prepare to make the playoffs. Our theme this year was chosen by the team and it's "Team Work makes the Dream Work!"
