The materials purchased will help give our literacy centers a much needed makeover. In our classroom we’re building the foundation for my little ones to be excellent readers and be successful as they progress throughout the year. Items such as the listening center station will give my students an alternative method of learning which will increase the chance of them becoming fluent readers. Reading is very important and with our library being upgraded we will enhance my student s desire to read. Children aren’t reading for fun as much as they used to and with these new books my students will have an outlet to practice their new ability to read and enjoy doing it. Though we are a low income,Title 1 school with limited access to new resources and materials we still manage to motivate our students to learn. New and improved Literacy Centers will help our students enjoy learning more and increase their chance for academic success both now and in the future.
