I have chosen some of my favorite science reading books to build a science class reading library. This is important because students shy away from science reading, and science literacy suffers. I know these books will begin to change that at my school. Science reading isn't always a high schooler's favorite topic, but I know that it is because many students haven't been exposed to GOOD science books! I want to change that by giving my students options for reading in my classroom - science isn't just textbooks and research articles.
