These materials will allow students to incorporate hands-on learning with what is taught in the classroom through direct instruction.
The hands-on learning will allow students with different language levels and skill levels the opportunity to reinforce what we discuss in class using materials/models. Students will now have the opportunity to work within these concepts on their own, and not just being taught these concepts.
Students are able to then apply what they learned to the real world.
Because many of the students are able to more easily understand information by doing vs. by reading, they will be able to make the connection between the curriculum and concepts.
