I strive to give my students as much access to technology in school because they do not have it at home. I am looking for each student in my second grade classroom to have their own earphones for iPad and Chromebook use. We use iPads and Chromebooks to support all curriculum areas. In math, our adopted curriculum has online independent lessons and assessments. Our adopted English language curriculum has many online components that students use everyday, such as guided reading books, phonics supports, and assessments. The use of headphones allows our students to work independently while not disrupting other students learning.
