Last year we started using a new curriculum. None of our old novels are in this new curriculum. I'd love to follow a novel study and give the students an opportunity to read Stargirl. This book was recommended by other middle school teachers from across the world. I had a chance to connect with teachers through social media and found that this book was popular with 7th grade students. My goal is to encourage students to be lifelong readers. I will use this class set of novels in all of my classes.
