Hello! I am one of two Speech Language Pathologists serving students at Valley View Early Learning Center. Valley View is a unique facility that exclusively offers preschool programs to over 300 students in the Highline area. There are two preschool programs at Valley View, ECEAP (Early Childhood Education Assistance Program) and Special Education. At any given time there are 80-100 students at Valley View who have communication needs on their Individualized Education Programs. I currently serve 55 students. Many of these students have complex communication needs. Meaning they have limited to no verbal communication, and use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to express their thoughts, needs, wants, and ideas.
