Our school is a Title 1 school. Our students come from various familial backgrounds, ethnic groups and socioeconomic groups, some of which are transient. They are so motivated to learn despite some of the negative situations some of them face. We are very much a family here. All the students are so willing to accept new students and are very competitive to be the first to volunteer to help new student during his/her transition. Students love to work cooperatively in groups and listen to their peers comments in order to make group or even individual projects better.
