The majority of our students meet the Head Start income guidelines and many do not have English as their first language. They come from rich cultural histories and diversity. The objectives for Development and Learning are based on Teaching Strategies and Creative Curriculum. The curriculum identifies goals in all major areas of development: Social/Emotional, Cognitive and Physical. The activities planned for students, the classroom environment, selected toys/ materials, daily schedule, and the way we talk with children, are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give the children a successful start in school.
