Every day, about 125 students come into the art room and create a unique piece of artwork. Currently, I have enough drying space to store a mere 40 pieces of artwork. This does not meet the needs of my students. In order to accommodate, artwork is spread out over the entire room leaving the last class to deal with the limited space. Another way that I have accommodated this tiny drying space is by limiting the amount of painting I allow the students to do.
This drying rack will remove any limits to the student's creating abilities and enable my students to work in larger scale.
I will be able to store at least one creation by each student that enters the art room on a daily basis.
