My school is a community school. It is not a very big school with the total population of under 300 students. We are a STEM school with a focus on math and science. The students come from very diverse backgrounds. We have white, Hispanic, multiracial, Latinos, Asians and African Americans. Most of the students are in the poverty level. The majority of the students are behind at least 2 grades academically. However, most are enthusiastic about learning math and work really hard to learn. The age of the students range from 11-13. The male population is larger than the female population. These students keep me on my toes! They are very caring individuals.
