Hello,
I teach high school Social Studies and media at Elmira High School and West Lane Tech Charter School. When I was in high school I got involved in our school radio station. Now as a teacher, I have the opportunity to create the same kind of program at the schools I teach at.
In these days of standardized, seemingly unending testing, I believe students also need a chance to be creative. They need the work place discipline and chance to have pride in producing a product. And a daily radio show can do that.
I hope you support our project.
Thank you,
Mr. Burgess
