My Kindergarten students benefit greatly by learning through play. They spend a portion of every morning in play centers, rotating through centers which engage them in conversation and play with their peers. These play centers allow students to be creative, explore and make sense of the world around them. My students enjoy creating and building with Legos. A Lego table will give my students a designated place in the room to be creative and keep Legos in an organized place in our room. Students can save their projects in this space to complete the following day and also use this space as a "Lego Museum" to display their latest creations.
