My classroom is made up of 21 students at many different reading abilities. The students love to have book clubs with one another in which they all gather around to read the latest graphic novel found in the school library, because my school is considered to be in the highest of poverty levels, many of my students do not have access to the books that they love so much, unless provided by myself or the school library.
This project would allow me to keep the interest of reading going in my class because I would have a variety of resources to do so. Building my classroom library is one of the most important ways to expose my students to a variety of books.
