My first grade students are eager learners. They are a spirited, caring bunch! The students in my class have a variety of learning skills. Some students are struggling to recognizing their letters and letter sounds, while others are in need of more challenging work above grade level. We are a suburban school. The majority of the students in our school are minorities and from low income households.
