Our school is in a high-poverty urban area of the San Francisco East Bay. Our students are predominantly African American and Latino, many of whom whose families have long ties to this community and this school. We strive to be a neighborhood school that empowers our students with the foundational skills and love of learning that will serve them to achieve great things for themselves and their family. Many of our students are several grades behind in their reading skills, but we are determined to help them accelerate those skills during their three years with us so that they will be on-track for college, and we're equally determined to help those who are currently at or beyond grade level to continue growing. Our school motto? No matter what!
