I teach second grade in a very high needs, low-income neighborhood in the South Bronx. My students work extremely hard each day. They come to school motivated and excited to learn. I am hoping to provide them with as many learning experiences as possible to give them the skills they need to be successful. My goal is to maintain a positive learning environment and instill a love of learning in each and every student! My students come to school with smiling faces each day, although many of them live difficult home lives. Some come from single parent homes, others live in homeless shelters. While my students face numerous challenges in life, they continue to amaze me with their desire to learn!
