We know that our youngsters need time to play to channel their natural energy, but what about a chance to play and exercise their minds?
Using a format they already know and love, Legos, I will be able to teach them foundational skills that will be necessary in their future lives- collaboration and the engineering design process of problem solving.
The materials requested for this project include the LearntoLearn core set from Lego in Education which provides enough bricks to create 28 individual sets, a curriculum that is adaptable by subject area and grade level, and a storage cart to keep all these materials organized.
By providing my students with structured time to build and construct, they can use their imagination to create anything they can dream of!
