The robotics students were able to visit and watch a Vex Competition last year and are ready to compete. The robotics students have also been asked by our naval recruiter to build an underwater robot and are able to make their own parts.
Engaging students with robotics was a dream until last year and now it is a reality!
Our Students are collaborating, presenting , thinking outside the box with their critical thinking skills. These skills will make a difference in the way they see themselves and their abilities.
Our district were able to purchase a 3D printer last year. We have come up with a few ideas that would engage any student one is a contest to see who can come up with the most creative, original idea with the use of a 3D printer. We have decided we have our local Spyrock Petroglyphs that are deteriorating would be a good place to start.
In conclusion, we would like to request enough funds to come up with a 3D scanner. Students believe that to compete with students that have many more options they have to have the technology and knowledege.
