As a Title I campus, my students come from all different backgrounds and socioeconomic classes. My students come from military families, single parent homes and second generation family units. We have students from all over the world, including Egypt and Saudi Arabia. My students are eager learners who are intrigued by the unknowns. New genre studies and multi-step word problems keep them on their toes. My students are young leaders in the making with goals of high school graduation and college admission. My students are ready to tackle any challenge that is presented to them. In my class we do things in a non-traditional way, looking beyond the "paper-pencil" work and moving into a more engaging and whole brained environment.
